Self-healing as a Therapy Concept

Self-healing and the Activation of your Self-Healing Powers

Self-healing and the activation of self-healing powers is a matter of the heart for many of my patients.

The therapy offers in my practice are based on the concept that focuses on the holistic view of body and mind and the interaction of our immune system with the hormones and our soul.

In science, this concept is very complicatedly referred to as psycho-endocrino-immunology and is ultimately the recognition of the holistic view of humans by medicine. However, this concept has unfortunately not prevailed in conventional medicine to this day due to its complexity and potential costs.

This holistic approach has always been a basic principle in naturopathy.

The aim of therapies based on self-healing is to restore the balance of these three functions of the body, so that a strengthening of the self-healing powers and ultimately healing becomes possible.

“the most Effective Medicine is the Natural Healing Power that Lies within each of Us.” (Hippocrates)

Self-healing – our Often Underestimated Inner Resources

Our body carries the resources for self-healing within it. These can unfold all the better, the more our body or the different physical functions are in balance.

However, we also generally understand our therapy as complementary, i.e. as a supplement to conventional medical therapies. A naturopathic therapy reaches its limits when disorders in the body persist for many years and there have already been significant structural changes in the body. Here, the interaction of conventional medicine and complementary medicine is sometimes necessary and useful.

Since many disorders in our body are caused by our lifestyle, our diet, exercise and environmental pollution, this area is of great importance in diagnostics and therapy.

In

, it was Carl Simonton who developed the Simonton method, as it is known today. Simonton is a pioneer and founder of psycho-oncology and has established the integrative method of psychological treatment and self-help for cancer. This concept is also the basis of my work.As part of my practice concept, I offer, among other things, the following therapy directions:

Some of the treatment and diagnostic methods presented here are alternative medicine procedures that are in some cases not yet scientifically recognized. All information on properties, effects, and indications is based on the knowledge and experience within the therapy methods themselves.

Psychotherapeutic Support

Support - Consultation - Stabilization

The importance of the psyche in strengthening self-healing powers is unfortunately still often ignored in daily practice. Anxiety and stress reactions, grief and emotional trauma have a direct, negative influence on our hormone system and lead to a weakening of the immune system.

Our goal of strengthening the defenses and thus the self-healing powers is therefore also dependent on how well we succeed in building a positive, self-affirming and optimistic basic attitude.

Since this can already have direct effects on a possible surgical intervention, on follow-up treatments and their side effects, an intervention as early as possible is very important to us.
