Costs

Clarity from the Outset – Essential for a Beneficial Encounter

Generally, you have the option of a free initial consultation, during which we will discuss to what extent and which treatment may be suitable for you. This consultation lasts approximately 15 minutes and is intended to provide you with useful guidance.

Before each treatment, you will receive a treatment agreement outlining all costs for our services. The costs for diagnostics and therapy cannot be quantified in advance, as they depend on the initial anamnesis and the results of laboratory tests.

Should you consider having the costs covered by your health insurance, please inquire with your health insurance provider beforehand. The costs for our services are generally private and independent of reimbursement by other service providers.

General guidance regarding reimbursement by different health insurance providers

Privately Insured Patients

Privately insured patients should carefully check their insurance documents to see how the service provider covers the reimbursement of naturopathic costs. Generally, you can refer to the GebüH.

Patients with Beihilfe Insurance

Patients with Beihilfe insurance can refer to the GebüH.

Insured persons of Postkrankenkasse B can refer to the GebüH. However, Beihilfe is increasingly removing services from its reimbursement tables. Please clarify the details with your Beihilfe office if necessary.

Patients with Supplementary Insurance

Patients with additional private health insurance that includes naturopathic practitioners can refer to their insurance documents to understand their terms and conditions.

Depending on the insurer, benefits vary from full reimbursement of naturopathic costs, reimbursement of all naturopathic costs up to a certain maximum amount, or reimbursement of a percentage of naturopathic costs up to a maximum amount.

Patients with Statutory Health Insurance

Statutory health insurance providers are only permitted to settle accounts with doctors, physiotherapists, and masseurs. Only in special cases can an exception be made with a certificate from an independent physician. This is worthwhile when conventional recognized medical methods fail and is decided on a case-by-case basis.

Otherwise, treatment in my practice for members of statutory health insurance funds is a private service and must be paid for by the patient. However, these costs can be claimed on the tax return at the end of the year.
